Webinar: Combined Heat and Power- Technology and Policy

On July 20, 2020 the Combined Heat and Power Alliance hosted a webinar about the economic, environmental, and grid resiliency benefits of combined heat and power (CHP) and waste heat to power (WHP) technologies, and federal policy that will help promote this efficient technology.

The webinar addresses:

  • The essentials of CHP and WHP technologies
  • Why deployment of these technologies results in greater efficiency and less pollution
  • Why CHP and WHP are important energy resilience solutions for critical infrastructure like hospitals, wastewater treatment plants, and microgrids
  • Key federal policy initiatives and legislation promoting greater deployment of these emission reducing technologies
