The Alliance for Industrial Efficiency signed onto a letter with a diverse group of 35 organizations, businesses, builders, trade associations, and public interest groups that urges the respective Chair of the Senate Committee on Energy and Commerce and the House Committee on Energy and Natural Resources to support the Energy Savings and Industrial Competitiveness Act of 2019 (S. 2137 and H.R. 3962) and bring them up in committee for consideration. The legislation would create a strategy to increase energy efficiency standards nationwide. It would work to save energy thus reducing costs for families and businesses. The legislation promotes job creation and growth within the industry while also working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants.
