The Alliance for Industrial Efficiency send thank you letters to members of the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) regarding their recent vote to approve draft interconnection rules for Arizona. This vote will help make it easier for Arizona businesses to install distributed technologies like combined heat and power (CHP). The rules will also get rid of the patchwork of requirements and procedures that developers face across the state. This will only help to make clean energy cheaper and easier to access.
The Alliance believes that clear, standardized interconnection procedures are crucial to facilitating CHP and other distributed generation resources in Arizona. We are grateful that the Commission is undertaking steps to adopt such standards for Arizona and we look forward to working with the Commission on next steps.
