On October 30, the Combined Heat and Power Alliance submitted comments before the Iowa Utilities Board regarding in the Interstate Power and Light Company’s rate case. The Alliance urged the Board to require changes to standby tariffs that will make the tariffs simple, transparent, and consistent. The Alliance also submitted a Summary of Best Practices Regarding Standby Rates, and urged the Board to implement these best practices in Iowa.
