Washington, D.C. (November 10, 2021) — Today, the Combined Heat and Power Alliance released their latest report, CHP and the Clean Energy Future: How CHP Fits into a Modern Electric Grid and a Green Gas System.

The report examines the current state of the electric grid and gas system in the U.S., the future of each, and how CHP will continue to work with these systems to provide cleaner, reliable energy that will support our communities and make them more resilient in the face of a changing climate. We want to give a special thanks to the report sponsors: Caterpillar Inc., Martin Energy Group, Northeast-Western Energy Systems, Siemens Energy Inc., INNIO Jenbacher, and AB Energy.

The CHP Alliance is holding a free webinar on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm ET to highlight the report and discuss how CHP will work with these systems now and into the future to provide reliable electric and thermal energy while lowering emissions and saving money.
