On March 2, the Alliance sent a letter to Representative Reed thanking him for introducing the Technologies for Energy Security Act (H.R.1090). The legislation would restore the tax credits for non-solar Section 48 technologies, including combined heat and power (CHP), which was allowed to expire at the end of 2016. This would provide needed certainty for the developers of CHP projects and the industrial customers they serve.
