Thursday, January 11 (Washington, D.C.) — The U.S. Department of Energy announced the launch of its Onsite Energy Technical Assistance Partnership (TAPs) program. David Gardiner, Executive Director of the Combined Heat and Power Alliance, released the following statement:
“The Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Alliance applauds DOE for launching the next iteration of its Technical Assistance Partnerships (TAPs), supporting vital onsite technologies — like CHP — that will power our energy future. Though the name has changed, these TAPs remain an invaluable resource for American manufacturers that need support transitioning to clean and reliable CHP systems that will lower emissions, increase efficiency, and drive down energy costs. We look forward to continuing our close relationships with the Onsite Energy TAPs across the country.”
