Earlier this year, Utah Governor Gary Herbert released an ambitious Energy Efficiency & Conservation Plan, elaborating 26 recommendations to reduce energy consumption in the state. These recommendations include a proposal to launch a CHP working group and to establish a state tax credit to support industrial efficiency. Today, the Alliance wrote a letter to the Governor and his energy adviser to thank them for acknowledging the key role that CHP can play in Utah’s energy future.
