The Alliance for Industrial Efficiency is excited to welcome its newest steering committee member: Sterling and Wilson Cogen Solutions, LLC. SWCOGEN is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sterling & Wilson, which has a large global presence and brings significant expertise in advancing industrial energy efficiency.

Founded 90-years ago, Sterling and Wilson Cogen Solutions’ parent company—Sterling & Wilson—is a trusted global engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions provider in the infrastructure and energy space. The company has expertise in mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) services; combined heat and power (CHP); diesel/gas generation; transmission and distribution; turnkey data centers; renewables; and other system types. Sterling & Wilson operates in more than 25 countries and has over 5 GW of global power plant installations. In 2015, Sterling & Wilson saw great promise in the rapidly expanding North American CHP market, which led to the creation of a U.S.-based subsidiary, Sterling and Wilson Cogen Solutions.

Headquartered in New Jersey, Sterling and Wilson Cogen Solutions engineers, builds and installs customized, end-to-end gas-based CHP, Micro Grid and Demand Response solutions for North America. The company specializes in small to mid-size systems in the 100 kW to 25 MW capacity range. Their goal is to “offer clients reliable, optimized power systems at the lowest total cost of ownership possible, implemented from start to finish by a single, high-quality supplier.” SWCOGEN offers clean and efficient technology solutions that reduce costs, increase reliability and lower emissions for its customers.
