More than 100 participants joined an Alliance webinar titled “CHP Is Flexibility: CHP Offers a Flexible Compliance Option for Power Plants under 111(d)” to discuss ways to recognize and quantify the efficiency and emissions benefits of combined heat and power (CHP) for air regulations, particularly for upcoming 111(d) power sector rules. Panelists included Jennifer Kefer (Alliance for Industrial Efficiency), Melissa Mullarkey (Recycled Energy Development), Bruce Hedman (Institute for Industrial Productivity), Vignesh Gowrishankar (Natural Resources Defense Council), Stacey Davis (Center for Clean Air Policy), and Rodney Sobin (Alliance to Save Energy).
