The Alliance joined Tucson Emerging 2030 District in submitting a letter to the Arizona Corporation Commission expressing support for Tucson Electric Power’s (TEP) energy efficiency programs. The letter responds to a recent TEP filing and expresses concerns that over the last year, TEP has focused too much of its attention on its rate case and its significant rate increase, while focusing too little attention on the cost-effective energy efficiency programs and services that customers value. The letter urges the Commission to act to ensure adequate funding for the energy efficiency programs that provide value to customers. Read the letter here.
The Alliance sent another follow up letter on October 31, which can be read here.
