On May 2nd, 2016, seven business and energy efficiency advocates sent a letter to Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, voicing support for his continued commitment to developing a Clean Power Plan (CPP) state compliance plan for Pennsylvania despite the recent Supreme Court stay. In addition, they recommended the inclusion industrial energy efficiency (IEE) measures into the state’s compliance plan, which will strengthen Pennsylvania’s manufacturing base, promote economic growth, increase grid reliability, and reduce emissions while lowering everyone’s electric bills.
